This batsman is Ravi Shastri's choice for number 4

 Mumbai.  Recently, Team India's two-time coach Ravi Shastri has revealed the name of his favorite player for the number-4.  Coach Ravi Shastri has backed young batsman Shreyas Iyer for the number-4 spot.  Shastri said that Iyer will continue to bat at number-4 for India in ODIs.


 Shastri said, 'One of the areas that we have focused on in the last two years is to bring more and more youth into the team.  Shreyas Iyer as an example.  He will continue to bat at No.4.  In the three-match ODI series that ended against the West Indies recently, Iyer batted at No. 4 and scored 71 and 65.  Before Iyer, young batsman Rishabh Pant was tried for number-4 but he was a complete failure.
