A few days ago, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in his speech in the Red Fort, while talking about the increasing population of India, had expressed concern over this, Modi said that if our population was less today, we would be better than you.  And live a happier life.

India's population has now reached 135  crore which is increasing every second and by 2030 India will be the world's most populous country.

 So far, three meetings have been held in the Ministry of Home Affairs on this subject and the next meeting may be held till 30 September.
